My niece recently turned 16 so we had to celebrate with her very own Sweet 16 Photoshoot. I’ve taken pictures of her all of her life but this is the first time she did hair, makeup (provided by the fabulous Monica Parrot of Altar Ego Makeup) and got dressed up just for our shoot. This was also our first shoot featuring just her and showing off her personality.
My niece is also an artist, one of several in our family. She loves acting and drawing and has plans to attend SCAD after graduating from high school. I can’t believe how time as flown and how she as grown into a beautiful, young lady. I am proud of her and excited for her future.
The photo session took place at my natural light studio in West Midtown. It was the perfect setting. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

Nice Sweet 16, I wish I had photographers like this when I was in hs.. It would have been nice to have more now that I’m older
